I have also published it once. This time when I returned to Tokyo, I went on a pilgrimage again. The JP Tower Museum of Academic and Cultural Studies is located next to Tokyo Station in KITTE, a shopping mall converted from the old Tokyo Central Post Office building. It is a public facility jointly operated by the University of Tokyo Research Museum and the Japan Post Office. It displays the academic assets accumulated by the University of Tokyo since its founding in 1877. The museum is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of KITTE Shopping Center. Transportation Tips: KITTE Shopping Center is on your left after exiting the Marunouchi South Exit of JR Tokyo Station. I like to come here at night, this space and atmosphere can make people calm down. There is a free museum in a shopping mall with a strong commercial atmosphere. The permanent exhibition hall displays specimens and materials from various disciplines such as anatomy, archaeology, biology, engineering, geography, geology, mathematics, contemporary art, and paleontology. The huge exhibition area also displays specimens of existing animals and extinct species such as dinosaurs, giraffes, false killer whales and crocodiles. In the windows on both sides, there are a large number of birds, insects and various plants and mineral specimens on display. In an inconspicuous corner, there is a large wooden cabinet with its back to all the exhibits. If you don’t look carefully, you might not notice that it is a mummy display cabinet. Because this exhibit cannot be photographed or filmed, there are actually no related photos found on any self-media. Out of respect for the museum and its exhibits, I cannot provide you with photos. The lighting in this area was particularly dim. After walking around the other side of the wooden cabinet, an open coffin and a full-body mummy appeared before our eyes. It was extremely precious and shocking. I really didn’t notice it my first time here because the other taxidermy exhibit areas were surprisingly brightly lit. This second visit, I discovered this amazing mummy again. I have to admire the Japanese emphasis on and education of archaeological relics. I recommend that if you travel to Tokyo, you might as well take the time to visit this free museum.
