An art museum where you can enjoy building designs along with works of art

#springwander A museum located in a convenient location, a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station. The impressive red brick building was designed by British architect Josia Condor, who worked on the Ueno Museum and the Rokumeikan, and restored the "Mitsubishi No. 1 Building" built in 1894. At the end of the 19th century, he collected works by Henri de Toulouse-Rotreck, Odillon Ludon, and Felix Vallotton, focussing on Western art at the end of the 19th century. In addition to holding special exhibitions on the theme of modern art from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century three times a year, various events such as panel discussions are also held.
