JAL Sky Museum

I visited the JAL Sky Museum located at Haneda Airport. Advance reservations are absolutely required for this experience. Search for "JAL Sky Museum" to find more details. Reservations open at 9:30 AM exactly one month before the desired visit date. Even though I tried to book right after the reservation period started, it was quite difficult to secure a spot 😢. However, if you check during your free time, you might find openings due to cancellations. If you're flexible and can visit on weekdays, it might be easier to get a reservation. The best part? Admission is completely free! The tour includes free exploration of the museum, followed by a guided tour of the hangar in groups. Inside the hangar, you can see various airplanes undergoing repairs and inspections. You can get really close to them, which was absolutely thrilling 🤩. And right behind the hangar is the runway! Watching planes take off and land right in front of you was even more exciting, with the engine sounds resonating through your body! Please note that this experience is not open to children below elementary school age. Even for those in elementary school or older, you need to bring an ID that shows your date of birth. You cannot drive directly to the museum. Park your car at the airport and take the Tokyo Monorail to the "Shin-Seibijo" station. Whether you're an adult, visiting with kids, or going solo, the JAL Sky Museum is a must-visit.
