Tokyo Tower View Hotel Recommendation | Toranomon Hyatt Centric Experience

Family, earlier this year I stayed at the Toranomon Hyatt Centric, and it was such an interesting experience! I used three Hyatt points I purchased last year, plus a suite upgrade certificate to upgrade to a deluxe base suite for just over 5,000 points. The cash price for one night is nearly 3,000, so I felt like I got a great deal! This hotel is often referred to as a budget-friendly alternative to Andaz. While it’s not exactly cheap, at least it accepts suite upgrade certificates, unlike Andaz. The hotel spans three floors and is small but charming. However, it does have some drawbacks: the front desk and lobby lack grandeur, and the standard suites don’t offer Tokyo Tower views. The tower view rooms have great scenery but are only 27 square meters in size. If you want to stay in a suite with a Tokyo Tower view, it’s worth communicating with the hotel in advance, as there might be a chance—though unfortunately, it was fully booked during my visit. That said, there are plenty of spots in the hotel’s public areas where you can snap photos of Tokyo Tower. Having spent a lot of time in Tokyo, I’ve grown a bit indifferent to it. The hotel’s location is excellent, with Hibiya and Ginza subway lines right downstairs, making it convenient to get to Ginza and Shibuya, though the Ginza line route is a bit roundabout. The gym is quite hidden, located behind a door, and it took me a while to find it—it’s a clever use of space. Breakfast options are somewhat limited, and I didn’t get to try it as I was too hungover both nights. If the price is around 2,000 per night, I think it’s well worth staying here. Next time, I plan to try out a standard tower view room!
