#EnjoyJapan I went to Akasaka Hikawa Shrine in Akasaka, Tokyo ☺️ This is a historic shrine that dates back to the Heian period. It is known as one of the three major matchmaking shrines in Tokyo, as it is said to bring good luck in finding a partner and warding off evil. The grounds are filled with torii gates, lanterns, and lion-dog statues made in the Edo period, and there is much to see. It was a wonderful shrine with a sense of openness and lots of greenery.
