M0+ Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Contemporary Art / 1935-2025 30th Anniversary Exhibition

The exhibition spans three floors, with each floor representing a decade. It features paintings, sculptures, and visual art pieces. The most memorable for me was the first period, showcasing works by Jiro Yoshihara and Masao Tsuruoka. However, the official exhibition plan only highlighted the latter's works. Unfortunately, photography was not allowed in this section. The apple in the main image caught my attention—it was part of a set of three paintings. The other two depicted regular apples, but this one had a face, which I found quite charming. This visit was an unexpected detour. Thanks to a 4-hour flight delay, I had time to explore. I visited the museum in Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, Blue Bottle Coffee, and Grandpa Edogawa's shop. That’s pretty much all there is in this area, I guess. 🤣
