Japan's Top Luxury Infinity Pool Hotel: Andaz Tokyo

Tokyo is a world-renowned travel destination, attracting thousands of tourists daily for sightseeing and vacations. Among its many luxury hotels, one stands out as a top choice for those seeking an exceptional experience: Andaz Tokyo. Apart from Aman, this is my favorite place to stay in Tokyo. The hotel’s design, crafted by designers Tony Chi and Shinichiro Ogata, reflects Japan’s cultural emphasis on aesthetics and purity. During my stay, I made it a point to wake up early for a refreshing morning swim. Here’s a useful tip: When booking a room at Andaz, make sure to choose a Tower View room. Ctrip offers this option separately, and while it’s slightly more expensive than the Garden View rooms, it’s worth the extra cost. You can also request this preference in the booking notes, but keep in mind that only one side of the hotel offers views of Tokyo Tower. These rooms are especially popular on weekends, so spending a bit more for this view is highly recommended. The hotel’s pool is open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and the space is absolutely stunning. In addition to the public heated pool, the bathrooms feature private hot springs, perfect for unwinding after a day of shopping and exploring. Located in Roppongi, Andaz Tokyo is conveniently situated. A taxi ride to Ginza takes just 10 minutes, and Omotesando is less than 30 minutes away. The subway system is also very accessible. While some might feel that Roppongi doesn’t offer much for shopping, walking 5 minutes towards the Shinbashi area reveals plenty of excellent restaurants. Many don’t require reservations, allowing you to enjoy delicious meals spontaneously. (Some restaurants stay open late, and there are even 24-hour BBQ spots.)
