Located in the heart of Tokyo's Otemachi district, Hoshinoya Tokyo is a hidden retreat that seamlessly blends the traditional aesthetics of a Japanese ryokan with modern urban architecture. Upon checking in, I headed straight to the rooftop to experience its unique infinity pool. More than just a pool, it feels like a serene garden floating above the city, featuring minimalist Japanese design complemented by wooden latticework and smooth stone materials. The shimmering water reflects the skyline of distant skyscrapers, creating a harmonious interplay. As I stepped lightly by the poolside, the night breeze brushed against me, and the Tokyo Tower glimmered with golden light in the distance. Immersed in the water, gazing at the stars above, the city's hustle and bustle seemed worlds away.
