Asakusa Yokocho - A Food Street with Delicious Unagi Don

Located near Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Yokocho is a small shopping mall with multiple floors. The first floor features Uniqlo, and the mall offers options for dining, shopping, and entertainment. Since we arrived late, unlike the nearby Ichiran Ramen which still had long queues, the food street on the fourth floor of Asakusa Yokocho became our ideal choice. 👍 The fourth-floor food street is decorated with a Japanese festival theme, featuring colorful and vibrant signs. The storefronts are adorned with lanterns 🏮, wind chimes 🎐, and other decorations, creating a strong Japanese atmosphere. There are plenty of dining options, including popular dishes like monjayaki and unagi don introduced by influencers, as well as yakitori and izakaya-style restaurants. This makes it a great spot for groups wanting to try different types of food. We chose the unagi don restaurant located at the corner. The owner and staff were very friendly, and the grilled eel was perfectly seasoned and delicious 😋. After the meal, you can even draw a fortune slip, making it a fun experience. For those who prefer to avoid long queues, this is a great choice!
