Akihabara is now famous as a center of subculture such as anime and games. Originally, it was a town mainly dealing in electronic devices and parts. There are still a few old-fashioned electronic device stores remaining. Recently, there are more offices than otaku shops in front of Akihabara Station. A short walk away is a historic spot such as Manseibashi Bridge, which retains remnants of the Taisho era.
