Amazingly Beautiful Sumida Aquarium

Each and all aquariums were amazingly designed and decorated. There was a section for jelly fish and the lighting effect made the whole area so magical. You can see jelly fish dancing gracefully in the tanks with changing colours. There are some unique sea creatures like Spotted Garden Eel “Heteroconger hassi” that live on sandy bottoms, they look so cute! Other than that, I was amazed by the open living area of little penguins. Visitors can get so close to them, basically the penguins just like swimming in front of you. Same for fur seals. I also like the Japanese goldfish exhibition section, artistic and incorporated Japanese art, now I understand why goldfish remain a central element in popular culture and art in modern Japan. There is a café serving drinks and some light food. I ordered the seasonal blue ocean-like cocktail, it tasted good and was beautiful. The colour blended so well with the aquarium.
