The Gate Hotel Kaminarimon * Breakfast in the lobby and restaurant with a view of the sunrise

THE GATE HOTEL KAMINARIMON by HULIC 2-16-11 Kaminarimon, Taito-ku, Tokyo 111-0034 About a 4-minute walk from Asakusa Station on the Tobu Skytree Line We had breakfast at a restaurant with a view of the Skytree. We chose one of three main dishes: Eggs Benedict, French toast, or Asakusa Tartine, and salads, bread, soup, etc. were served buffet style. The Asakusa Tartine was full of eggs, and the bacon and vegetables were just the right amount of salty, so it was very filling. The hotel's special marmalade had a perfect balance of sweetness and bitter fruit, and was really delicious! Breakfast starts at 6:30, so if you get up early in the winter, you might be able to eat while watching the sunrise. The photo shows the sky at 7:00 on 12/30. The pink morning sky was lovely. The hotel is about 100 meters from Kaminarimon, so it was very convenient to go sightseeing in the evening or relatively early in the morning when there are not many people around. #tripcomexperience #AsakusaHotel #AccommodationReview
