Spain [Toledo Cathedral]

The Toledo Cathedral is one of the three major Gothic cathedrals in Spain, built in the 13th century. It is so large that its splendor is beyond words. However, if you go to the Toledo Cathedral, the one thing you must see is the ‘Eucharistic Monstrance.’ It is supported by four great angels, and the cross in the center is made of diamonds. It is a very precious treasure, so it is currently only on display, but it is said to be used very occasionally during important events. I also remember the sacristy, which has Luca Giordano’s ceiling painting and El Greco’s The Stripping of Christ. There is a reason they are all masterpieces.
