I originally came here with the relaxed mood of taking beautiful photos and drinking a cup of coffee, but from the moment I got off the car, I was completely shocked by the blue sky, white walls, blue sea and the sound of airplanes in front of me. As soon as I walked into Umikaji Terrace, the stacked, pure white buildings immediately reminded me of Santorini in Greece. The shops are arranged along the slope in a staggered manner, with a unified style and very Okinawa local characteristics. You can take super dreamy photos wherever you go📷. Especially when the weather is clear, the blue sky and white walls contrast strongly, and the picture is as beautiful as a postcard, and it can be beautiful on social media without any photo editing! One of the biggest features of the island is that planes fly over the top at a very close distance! Because it is located near Naha Airport, planes appear almost every 10 minutes, and the flight path passes over the top of the head. The rumbling sound and the romantic feeling of the sea breeze make me scream while taking pictures. I really never thought that I could enjoy so many spectacular scenes of planes taking off and landing while leisurely drinking iced coffee. Shopping here is very healing. I bought handmade glass earrings and local specialty fragrance bags, and ate the famous Okinawa sea salt ice cream, which has a salty and sweet taste and is super special! There are also several Japanese and Western restaurants on the island, some of which have viewing seats. You can sit on the balcony and eat dinner while watching the sunset fall into the sea. At dusk, the entire sea surface was dyed with golden sunset light and sparkled. This scene made me forget the time for a while. If you are willing to spend some time to enjoy it, you can also experience the "Ryujin no Yu" hot spring. You can relax while soaking in the hot spring and watching the planes and the sea. It is simply the ultimate healing enjoyment! Although there are not many large attractions on the island, the atmosphere here is superb, the pace is slow, and you can relax in any corner.
