Sichuan-Shaanxi Revolutionary Base Red Army Martyrs Cemetery It is the resting place for 25,000 Red Army soldiers and is the largest Red Army martyrs cemetery in the country. The tombstones are nameless and anonymous; the vast majority of them are unsung heroes, many of whom were only about 20 years old when they sacrificed their lives. It inspires reverence, sorrow, and awe! May there be no more wars in this world! Tips: 1. The martyrs cemetery is located in Wangping Village, Tongjiang, about 60 kilometers from the county town, with direct access via the expressway; 2. There are also many Red Army relics scattered around Wangping Village; 3. No admission fee; 4. The visit takes about half a day.
