So, I pulled together a team of four to check it out and found that this year's Huxiao Gorge is a bit different. Brand New Upgrade ✅ A new signboard has been installed on the road to the scenic area, and the visitor center has also been newly built and upgraded, equipped with self-service ticket machines to save queuing time. The surrounding shops have also been upgraded; we ate at KFC and drank from Shanghai Auntie, which was a much better experience than last year. ✅ The number of showers in the common bathing hall has increased, so there's no queuing for washing. (Bathing supplies need to be provided by yourself) ✅ Opposite the visitor center, the Huxiao Gorge Water World💦 is under construction, which is very suitable for children to play, and it is expected to open for business in July. Tour Guide 1⃣️ After arriving at the scenic area by self-driving, put on a life jacket🦺 and a safety helmet⛑️, then go through the ticket check, and take the scenic area shuttle bus to the top of the mountain to start rafting.❗️❗️ Bring slippers🩴, sun protection clothing, mobile phone protective cases, and toys for water fights. 2⃣️ A 10-kilometer exotic canyon, 4.8 kilometers of river rafting, with both rapid and gentle sections, the whole journey takes about 2 hours. For safety reasons, you must wear a safety helmet⛑️ and a life jacket🦺 throughout the journey, and it is not recommended to stand while interacting with other tourists in water fights. 3⃣️ The river is thrilling and exciting, and it's fun to relax and have water fights in the pools. Anyone over 1.3 meters tall can participate. Regardless of adults or children, after rafting, you must take a hot shower♨️, otherwise, the mountain breeze can easily cause a cold. Rafting Time⏰: Daily from 13:00-15:00, no entry after 15:00. The opening time will be earlier on weekends, please inquire with the scenic area management office.
