Wuzhen Watertown 🇨🇳 Zhejiang

In China we have been to a lot of watertowns, and they a perfect day trip to relax and try new foods. Wuzhen is easily one of my favourites, so much so that we literally spent the entire day from the crack of dawn till the town closed at night. In Wuzhen you can see them making soy sauce in a traditional manner (pic3) and there are so many tasty treats they make all throughout the town. The history about the fabrics that were made there are on display too in a free to walk around old mill. In the town there are bars and restaurants for the evening to wind down in. Some are quiet and on the waterfront and other by the pagoda with a little music. The fee to enter the town is worth it for sure and when family and friends travel to China, Wuzhen will be on the list as it's clean, interesting and a great spot to try Chinese food that's is fairly friendly to Western tastes. #watertown
