Whenever I visit Toyama, I always choose to stay at the Toyoko INN Toyama Station South Exit. This hotel is incredibly convenient and has a clean, simple environment. It's just a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Toyama Station, and you can spot the entrance as soon as you step out of the station with your luggage—perfect for solo travelers. Although it's a business chain hotel, the rooms are clean and practically equipped: a comfortable double bed, independent air conditioning, and an electric kettle, ensuring a secure and pleasant stay. The most delightful surprise is the breakfast buffet. While it’s not a luxurious spread, it offers a variety of options like rice, miso soup, grilled fish, side dishes, bread, and beverages. The diverse selection ensures you can have a hearty meal and recharge before heading out early the next day. The hotel also provides free WiFi, coin-operated laundry machines, hair dryers, and even irons for borrowing, which is very thoughtful. However, the room size is relatively small, so travelers with a lot of luggage might find the space a bit cramped.
