The unique Gowa Lowo

Goa Lowo is located in Watu Agung Village, Watulimo District, or about 27 km from the center of Trenggalek City. Access to Goa Lowo is easy to find because it passes through the national road with a large sign on the side of the road or about 27 km from the center of Trenggalek and Tulungagung, and in the same direction as the tourist locations of Prigi Beach and Pasir Putih. At this location, tourists will enjoy the beauty of the cave covered in stalactites and stalagmites. The carvings on the rocks are formed naturally from particles carried by water droplets in the cave for thousands of years. The natural beauty is more perfect with the presence of colorful spotlights installed between the rocks. To explore the entire beauty of the cave, visitors do not need to bother, because an 859-meter bridge is provided, from the mouth to the end of the cave. According to the research results of French cave experts, Gilbert Mantovani and Kingston Kho in 1985, Goa Lowo was declared the largest and longest cave in Southeast Asia. For the length of Lowo Cave, tourists can enjoy it as far as ±859 meters, which consists of 9 rooms. This cave is quite unique, because the width of the cave room reaches 50 meters with a height varying between 20 to 50 meters. Even so, we don't need to be afraid of running out of oxygen.
