[Fukui] Tsuruga: A city where history and port atmosphere live on

#Spring0yentrip Tsuruga is a port town facing the Sea of ​​Japan, and the quiet atmosphere that evokes nostalgia left an impression. The first thing you see when you get off the station is the Tsuruga Red Brick Warehouse, with its rows of retro buildings that are typical of a port town, and the atmosphere of the logistics hub of the time still remains. Inside the building, there is an exhibition introducing the history of railways and ports, and I was able to once again learn that Tsuruga was a gateway connecting Japan to the world. Walking along the seaside, there are also places rich in nature such as Kehi no Matsubara and Kanagasaki Green Space, which are perfect for a leisurely stroll. Tsuruga is also known as a railway town, and at the Railway and Port Diorama Museum, you can enjoy looking at the intricately crafted models. It's not too touristy, so it was nice to be able to explore at my own pace. It was a relaxing destination where I could feel the atmosphere of a history and port town.
