Chaka Salt Lake, the Sky Mirror

Located in Ulan County, Haixi Mongol and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, lies the stunning, 105-square-kilometer Chaka Salt Lake, nestled amidst snow-capped mountains and grasslands. Famous for its unique "Sky Mirror" effect, I joined a tour group to experience this wonder, starting at Sky No. 1 "Seven-Color Lake" and embarking on a journey through the sky. Entering the scenic area, I strolled along the salt lake's boardwalk, the soft, snow-white salt crystals crunching beneath my feet, creating a unique melody. The salt glittered under the sunlight, sparkling like diamonds. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the pure blue and white reflections intertwined, resembling a natural mirror. The distant mountains appeared even more majestic against the backdrop of the salt lake. The continuous snow-capped mountains and the deep lake waters complemented each other perfectly. The boundless lake surface seamlessly connected the sky and the earth, creating a magnificent painting of the unity of heaven and earth. I felt as if I were in a spiritual and pure world. Oh, Chaka Salt Lake, you are so beautiful! Standing beside you, it felt as if the whole world had fallen silent, leaving only the dialogue between you and nature. This tranquility and serenity will forever be etched in my memory.
