Are the British Obsessed with Gardening?

The United Kingdom is composed of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Upon arriving in the UK, you will discover that each of these four countries has its own national flower: England's is the Rose, Scotland's is the Thistle, Wales's is the Daffodil, and Northern Ireland's is the Shamrock. Gardening seems to be a very trendy activity in the UK, possibly because it is renowned for its horticulture. Each season brings different flowers to admire: cherry blossoms in spring, roses and lavender in summer, sunflowers in autumn, and snowdrops in winter. I have never been interested in flowers and can never remember their names or meanings, but I was truly amazed by the vibrant flowers and gardening in the UK!
