Kew Gardens Bloom Alert: Titan Arum and Monet's Water Lilies

Despite the less-than-ideal weather forecast 🌤️🌦️🌥️🌨️, the official Instagram announced that the Titan Arum is blooming! The flower only lasts for 1-2 days (see photo 6). So, I decided to head out right after waking up (even though it was already past noon 🤣). The water lilies were breathtakingly beautiful. I saw various strange and adorable plants but didn't have time to learn about each one. My camera 📷 did a thorough job capturing them. Tickets 🎫: Student tickets are £9 online, but £11 at the gate. It's better to purchase in advance. Transportation 🚄: Take the South Western Railway to Richmond station. You can catch a bus 🚌 from there, or walk about 800 meters to reach the gardens. Shopping 🛍️: The £4.5 eco-friendly bags and £18 for two hand creams are quite a bargain. Other merchandise seems thoughtfully designed, including garden-themed Jellycat toys, featuring the Titan Arum and Bird of Paradise.
