It is located in Haarzuilens, a red town in the province of Utrecht. I took the train and bus from Utrecht to get here. Along the way, I enjoyed the Dutch countryside and saw sheep, swans and windmills. The exterior of the castle is very spectacular, with towering towers, pointed roofs, red and white windows and door panels, as well as a moat and a drawbridge. The interior of the castle is even more luxurious, with rooms of various styles, such as halls, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, etc., all decorated with exquisite furniture, paintings, tapestries and lighting. The owner of the castle is the Van Zuylen family, who are Dutch nobles with a long history and rich collections. I followed the tour guide and listened to many stories about the castle and the family, and I felt like I had traveled through time to the aristocratic life of the Middle Ages. There are beautiful gardens around the castle, including the Rose Garden, the Roman Garden and the Grand Canal, which are all great places for taking photos.
