Malta: Diving into June's Jelly-like Sea!!

My first solo trip to Malta🇲🇹, the heart of the Mediterranean Escaped thesis-writing fatigue by flying south for a vacation🌴 I spent five days and four nights there, with the first and last days mostly for travel, so it was essentially a three-day itinerary. As a non-"special forces" traveler, I prioritized chilling—perfect for those who want a relaxed exploration! ✈️Flights: SAS Copenhagen - Malta Bought during a sale, round trip for just 600+ DKK 🏠Accommodation: Sliema—central, affordable, and convenient 🚌Transport: Bought a 4-day bus pass (€19) at the airport. Taxis are better for groups. Download the Tallinja app—slightly more accurate than Google Maps, though delays happen (waited nearly an hour for Bus 222 at the pier on Day 3🐢). Itinerary: **Day1️⃣** Blue Grotto: Bring cash! (€10) I had to exchange on the island—better to prepare beforehand. Valletta (Photos 5-6): - Upper Barrakka Gardens (Photos 7-8) - Lower Barrakka Gardens (Photo 9) - Old Mint Street **Day2️⃣** Comino Island: Took a bus from Sliema to Ċirkewwa Pier. Few sights—mainly the Blue Lagoon and a nearby beach. My favorite spot! Crystal-clear water, perfect for sunbathing and island walks (Photos 2-3). Thirsty? Try the 🍍drink (€8 non-alcoholic/€10 alcoholic). **Day3️⃣** Gozo Island: Planned DIY sightseeing but arrived late, so hopped on a hop-on/hop-off bus (Photo 11). Comes with headphones—even Chinese audio guides!🥰 Stopped at: - **Victoria**: Gozo's capital. Climb the citadel for panoramic views—worth it! - **Marsalforn** & **Ramla**: Disappointing. Small beaches, nothing special, and the sea paled vs. Comino. 🍕Food: 📍Sliema - **Ta' Kris**: Rabbit stew (Photo 14, sweet-sour—meh). - **Il-Merill Restaurant**: Mixed Grill (chicken/steak/sausage/ribs + veggies, Photo 15—delicious!). 📍Near Blue Grotto - **Coast @ Cassarini Restaurant**: Seafood pasta (Photo 12, recommended!).
