🇦🇹 Drinking Viennese coffee at Cafe Central ☕️

#EmotionalCafe #Austria #Vienna #CafeCentral 📍Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 ☕️ Cafe Central Since Vienna, Austria is well-known for its Viennese coffee, its cafe culture is well-developed. There are many famous cafes in Vienna, but Cafe Central is the most visited cafe by tourists. It is a cafe where you can have a cup of Viennese coffee while listening to a pianist's live piano performance in a beautiful building. The atmosphere is good, so of course the coffee tastes good!

Café Central

Café Central is a traditional Viennese café located at Herrengasse 14 in the Innere Stadt first district of Vienna, Austria. The café occupies the ground floor of the former Bank and Stockmarket Building, today called the Palais Ferstel after its architect Heinrich von Ferstel. The café was opened in 1876, and in the late 19th century it became a key meeting place of the Viennese intellectual scene. Key regulars included: Peter Altenberg, Theodor Herzl, Alfred Adler,Egon Friedell, Hugo von Hofmannsthal, Anton Kuh, Adolf Loos, Leo Perutz, Robert Musil, Stefan Zweig, Alfred Polgar, Adolf Hitler, and Leon Trotsky. In January 1913 alone, Josip Broz Tito, Sigmund Freud, and Stalin were patrons of the establishment. Tarot games of the Tarock family were played regularly here and Tapp Tarock was especially popular between the wars.
