[Fukui] Varve Museum

Trip to Fukui prefecture ❄️ ~Thinking about the past and future at the Annual Ring Museum~ . . An interesting place on my trip to Fukui was the Annual Ring Museum. . Simply put, an annual ring is a layer of rock that has accumulated on the bottom of a lake over a long period of time, like the rings of a tree. . The Annual Ring Museum displays the longest annual rings in the world (45m, 70,000 years worth). . By looking at the annual rings that overlap each year and the pollen that adheres to them, we can understand what happened in that era and what kind of climate changes occurred👀 . The museum staff explained it in detail☺️ It was very interesting. (Both my sisters chose earth science for the university entrance common test/center test...lol) . . By the way, I also like architecture... It was a wonderful place filled with the warmth of wood😌 #museum
