The Wilanów Palace in Warsaw

The Wilanów Palace is a Baroque pearl of Warsaw. The palace and the garden have remained unchanged despite the partitions, wars and occupations. Here you will feel like King Jan III Sobieski - the conqueror of the Turks from Vienna, who in 1683 stopped their march through Europe. The ruler, who gained the nickname of the fearless Lechistan Lion in Europe, lived there together with his beloved wife Marysieńka. In the palace you will see the apartments of the king and the apartments of Queen Maria Casimire, including the Chinese, Dutch, Antiquities and the Potocki Museum. Stop for a longer time in the White Room to see the images of the successive owners of the palace and people associated with them. In winter, Wilanów invites you to the Royal Garden of Light. Walking through it, you will encounter beautiful figures from a bygone era, animals and plants of fanciful shapes. The darkness of the night is illuminated by thousands of lights that dance to the rhythm of classical music during special shows.
