A quiet place in a busy alley, a Japanese-style teahouse: Shimaga Tea

Adorned with flowers and plants, the Japanese-style old house tea shop in the alley #島鹿吃茶 has a very modern Showa style. The black and white brick floor, the retro bar, the red velvet round stools, and the wooden windows exude a strong sense of classic fashion. The small space is decorated with a full Japanese atmosphere. There are only three small double tables on the first floor. The narrow terrazzo stairs leading to the second floor are tatami seats. I ordered a pot of fragrant pot-brewed milk tea, which had a warm and mellow taste with the aroma of tea and milk, and came with shelled salt-roasted macadamia beans to satisfy my craving. The Shima Deer restaurant is small with few seats, luckily there are fewer people there in the afternoon on weekdays, otherwise you would have to wait for a table. Fortunately, the area around Weimin Street, Wanchang Street and Xihuanan Street is quite fun to visit, so you don’t have to worry about having no place to kill time.
