🚗Transportation: There are three main modes of transportation within the Wutai Mountain scenic area: self-driving, bus route 8, and taxis. Self-driving is recommended, but you need to make a reservation in advance on the "Smart Holy Land" official account. The number of vehicles allowed each day is limited, so it's best to book as soon as reservations open, as it can be difficult to get a spot. Bus route 8 operates 24 hours a day and stops at all major stations, making it relatively convenient. Taxis generally charge a fixed price per person. Wuye Temple: Primarily for career and wealth blessings. Shuxiang Temple: Primarily for academic success. Xiantong Temple: The largest and oldest temple in Wutai Mountain. Bodhisattva Summit: Climb the 108 steps, symbolizing the 108 earthly desires. Each step represents letting go of one desire. Dailuo Summit: With 1,080 steps, it represents the ten realms, each with 108 levels, including 108 earthly desires. Walking the path of wisdom can increase wisdom and eliminate worries. Fanxian Mountain: Primarily for relationship and unexpected wealth blessings. 🌟Itinerary 📍Friday: Depart in the afternoon/evening (approx. 4-hour drive). 📍Saturday: Morning: It is recommended to arrive at Wuye Temple on an empty stomach and before 7am. This is the time with the shortest queues; otherwise, expect to queue for around three hours. After visiting Wuye Temple, have breakfast at Dicos (the first vegetarian Dicos in China). After breakfast, take the bus back to Wuye Temple, pass through Tayuan Temple and Daxiantong Temple, and climb the 108 steps to Bodhisattva Summit. Lunch: Descend from Bodhisattva Summit. Lunch is recommended at "Locals' Farmhouse Restaurant." Afternoon: Enter from the right front of the cable car, pass through a row of wooden houses, and arrive at the Dabei Road Stele Pavilion. After reaching the top of Dailuo Summit, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Wutai Mountain. Descend via the horse trail. Evening: Stroll around Yangbaiyu. Dinner is recommended at "Zhang Ji Mutton Noodles" to try the mutton noodle hot pot. The Jinan Yangji shortbread is also excellent. If you want to buy souvenirs, check out Fayin Bookstore; they are perfect for yourself or as gifts. 📍Sunday Morning: The path up Fanxian Mountain is a dirt slope, making it quite challenging, symbolizing the difficulties in finding love and unexpected wealth. It takes about 2–3 hours to go up and down the mountain. Note: There are vendors selling roast chicken and liquor along the way, but these are not allowed inside the main hall. Sunday Afternoon: Return trip. 🌟Prayer Phrases Wuye Temple: Namo Guangji Dragon King Bodhisattva, disciple [your name], residing at [your address] (be as detailed as possible). My wishes are 1, 2, 3. May you bless me so that all my wishes come true. If they are fulfilled, I will return to offer thanks within three years. Bow three times. You can prepare some small change in advance to put in the merit box. When making a wish, put your palms together with a slight hollow in the center. The three-year period for returning to offer thanks starts from the day the wish is fulfilled. Fanxian Mountain: Upon entering the courtyard, first bow to the small deities on the left and right inside the Wang Men. The first floor enshrines: Grandpa Hu, Grandma Hu, Great Grandpa Hu, Great Grandma Hu, Second Grandpa Hu, and Second Grandma Hu. The second floor enshrines: Great Grandpa Hu, Great Grandma Hu, Third Grandpa Hu, Third Grandma Hu, Fourth Grandpa Hu, and Fourth Grandma Hu. On the far left of the second floor entrance are enshrined: Fifth Grandpa Hu and Sixth Grandpa Hu. Prayer phrase: Grandpa and Grandma Fox Deity, disciple [your name] from [your location]. I have three wishes... I hope Grandpa and Grandma Fox Deity can help me fulfill them. If they are granted, I will return to offer thanks within one year.
