Marvel at the natural wonders of the colorful rock walls on the Hayouxi Hot Spring Trail!

Hayouxi is hidden in Wutai Township, Pingtung; it is a tributary of the Gaoping River system in Taiwan. The Hayouxi Hot Spring Trail is a stunning sight with its towering colorful rock walls and crystal-clear streams, a secret spot discovered by the local tribe after the Typhoon Morakot disaster. The tribe believes it was a gift from nature, offering them a chance for rebirth. To get close to the Hayouxi Hot Spring Trail, you must first take a 4WD or jeep down to the Ailiao North River, cross the riverbed for about an hour, and then wade upstream for about 40 minutes. Along the way, when encountering rapids, you need to hold hands and walk in unison. The sight of the natural patterns and the magnificent rock walls will make you forget your worries. The local Dawu tribe calls the Hayouxi Hot Spring the 'Golden Wild Hot Spring' because the mineral-rich hot spring water flows down the majestic canyon walls, painting the rock walls with vibrant colors, creating a beautiful and breathtaking natural masterpiece! For safety reasons, the route is only suitable during the dry season, and it is recommended to wear a helmet and river tracing shoes throughout the journey.
