The best part is the luggage was sent directly to our room, we no need carry along! The entire management system of Wuzhen was very advanced. You can check on the WeChat app to see when your room is cleaned and when your luggage has arrived. Tip: Don’t forget to ask the front desk to register you for the Morning Tea Guest experience for the next day. It’s FREE! After checking in, we began exploring the area. I have to say, the scenery was absolutely stunning—like a painting! 🖼️ I bought a cup of smoked plum tea, which was really refreshing. Then, we had lunch at a famous local restaurant-MoMoDeJia. The price was very affordable, only 158 RMB, and the rice was refillable! Soon, It was 3:00 PM, and we were able to check into our room. We stayed in Building 29, Room 2291, which was a waterfront room with a balcony. Sitting on the balcony, we could watch the boats passing by—it was so relaxing! Later, we took the small bus to the outer area. (For those staying inside the scenic area, the ride is free, but if you’re staying outside, it costs 10 RMB every ride.) Our next stop was a Hanfu experience shop (located at outside), where we rented traditional Chinese clothing. The package, which included makeup and hairstyling, cost only 168 RMB—totally worth it! The part I was most looking forward to finally arrived—WuZhen’s signature Morning Tea Guest experience. At 7:30 AM, we got up early for a morning stroll. The atmosphere was completely different from when we arrived the previous day. In the morning, only guests staying inside the scenic area could roam around, making the alleyways feel peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was made up of local delicacies, such as osmanthus cakes, and everything was self-serve—delicious and unlimited! Finally, it was time to check out. The homestay owner helped transport our luggage to the visitor center, we just pick it up upon departure. After that, we headed to Suzhou.
