Wuzhou is an underrated city that surprised me!

When it comes to Guangxi, the first places that come to mind are Guilin, Nanning, and Beihai Weizhou Island. Wuzhou is often overlooked, but this short trip to Wuzhou surprised me: Wuzhou history: Wuzhou was formerly known as Cangwu and Guangxin. The names of Guangdong and Guangxi come from Guangxin, which is the boundary between the two provinces. Wuzhou has a history of more than 2,200 years and is the birthplace of Xijiang culture and Lingnan culture. It is also said to be the birthplace of Cantonese. Although it is in Guangxi, it is a city full of Cantonese flavor. There are many historical and cultural buildings with unique characteristics. The most famous is the arcade city, which is large in scale, numerous in number, and diverse in style, including Gothic, Nanyang, ancient Roman colonnade, and Chinese classical styles. It can be called a museum of arcades.
