It's the perfect way to get around. The bus is also a good option, as you can see the city streets, but it may take longer due to traffic. Accommodation I chose a homestay near the Bell and Drum Towers, which was in a great location 👍! It's close to everything and there are many restaurants nearby. The price is great in the off-season, and you can get a cozy and comfortable room for a few hundred yuan. The owner was very friendly and recommended some places that locals like to visit. The room was decorated like a home, and after a long day of sightseeing, I didn't want to get out of bed 🛏. Itinerary Day 1: Xi'an City Wall - Bell and Drum Tower Square In the morning, I went to the Xi'an City Wall. It was great to visit in the off-season, as there were no crowds. I rented a bike 🚲 and rode slowly along the wall, feeling the breeze and the charm of the ancient city. The view from the wall was amazing, with ancient buildings inside the city and modern skyscrapers outside. It was a unique blend of old and new. When I got tired of riding, I stopped to take photos and enjoy the moment. In the afternoon, I went to Bell and Drum Tower Square. The Bell and Drum Towers face each other and are very impressive. I strolled around the square, admiring the beautiful architecture and imagining the prosperity of ancient times. At night, the towers were lit up and looked amazing. The photos I took were stunning 📸. Day 2: Shaanxi History Museum - Grand Tang Mall The Shaanxi History Museum is a must-see, so I booked my tickets 🎫 in advance. There were fewer people in the off-season, so I could take my time admiring the precious artifacts. The museum has a rich and diverse collection, from ancient times to the modern era. Each artifact tells a story of history. I spent a few hours there and felt like I had traveled through time, gaining a deeper understanding of history. After leaving the museum, I went to the Grand Tang Mall in the evening. It was like a dream world, with bright lights and Tang-style buildings. People in traditional costumes walked around, making me feel like I was in the Tang Dynasty. There were many performances and street artists showing off their talents. It was very lively 🎉. The kids had a great time and the adults enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Day 3: Huaqing Palace - Terracotta Warriors These two attractions are in Lintong District and can be reached by tourist bus. Huaqing Palace has beautiful scenery, with exquisite garden design and ancient royal hot springs. You can tell your kids stories about ancient times and let them experience the charm of history. The Terracotta Warriors are even more impressive and are known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Visiting in the off-season, you can see the details of the warriors more clearly. Each warrior's expression and posture is lifelike, and you can't help but admire the wisdom and skills of the ancients. I recommend hiring a guide to explain the history, as it can be difficult to understand on your own. Food Recommendations 🥙 Roujiamo: You must try roujiamo in Xi'an. The crispy bread and juicy meat are a perfect combination. The roujiamo I had was delicious, with tender and flavorful meat that was not too fatty or dry. 🍜 Oil-splashed noodles: Hot oil is poured over chili and noodles, creating a sizzling sound and a fragrant aroma. The noodles are chewy and spicy, making them irresistible. 🥟 Lamb paomo: The lamb is tender and the soup is rich. It's fun to break the bread into pieces and soak them in the soup. The bread absorbs the soup and is warm and delicious. Travel Tips 1. In the off-season, many attractions offer discounts on tickets, so check in advance and take advantage of the savings. 2.
