Arrived in Xi'an for the first stop of the winter vacation and bravely checked into The Ritz-Carlton. I heard that it has the largest executive lounge in Asia, so I'm here to see what it's all about! ✅ Check-in There are staff at the hotel lobby entrance to guide you, open the car door, and take your luggage. Check-in is quick, and the receptionist is very enthusiastic, introducing the room conditions and hotel floor layout in detail, and confirming the details of the executive lounge benefits. The executive lounge is on the 23rd floor and is only accessible to specific room types and above. ✅ Room Type Because I wanted to experience the largest executive lounge in Asia, I booked an executive king room (the price of an ordinary room type requires an additional CNY 799), and the price fluctuation was not significant. I communicated the birthday details with the hotel in advance, and the room was simply decorated with welcome fruit and desserts. You will also receive an exclusive commemorative room card printed with your name! The room's toiletries are all large bottles of Diptyque, and the scenery is very good. ✅ Executive Lounge Benefits The most anticipated part of this stay is the executive lounge, where you can experience five exquisite dining options and exclusive executive lounge experiences. 1️⃣ Breakfast 06:30–11:00 For breakfast, you can choose the Xian Kitchen on the third floor or dine in the executive lounge. This time, I chose the Xian Kitchen, which has a wide variety of options. In addition to basic desserts and Chinese and Western dishes, there are also Xi'an specialties such as Saozi noodles, Biang Biang noodles, mutton paomo, and roujiamo. The taste is really as good as that of specialty restaurants. 2️⃣ Lunch 12:00–14:00 Lunch is mainly cold dishes and Chinese dishes. The hot dishes are fresh, and the cold dishes remain the same. There are different special noodles every day. This time, I tried braised beef noodles and Northern Thai golden noodles, and the ingredients and taste were well received. 3️⃣ Afternoon Tea 14:30–16:30 Afternoon tea for two is CNY 328/set. Both the appearance and taste are online, especially the freshly baked scones, which have a rich flavor. I also tasted cherry foie gras, which I loved! 4️⃣ Cocktails and Snacks 17:00–20:00 Dinner is still mainly cold dishes and Chinese dishes. The quality of the Japanese food station is very high, the ingredients are solid, and smoked salmon is also available in unlimited quantities. In addition to the afternoon tea snacks, there are also new additions on the dessert table, so if you missed afternoon tea at noon, you can still put together a set on the spot in the evening. 5️⃣ Evening Dessert Wine and Desserts 20:30–22:30 There are seven cocktails to choose from, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. The alcohol content is very low, making them suitable for sisters to chat over drinks. There is a bar and sofa area indoors, and the sofa bed is recommended outdoors, overlooking the night view of the high-tech zone.
