Wandering through these streets is the best way to get to know the city! During my stay in Xiamen, I liked to stroll around those alleys in my free time. In them, you can find the local atmosphere of Xiamen and discover some hidden gem shops. Douxi Road: This street is home to a variety of interesting shops, and the storefronts are quite intriguing. It's a great place for street photography in Xiamen. It's close to Zhongshan Park, so you can plan to visit both on the same day. Xian Road: Exploring this street, you'll occasionally find surprises. It's not as crowded as Zhongshan Road, nor as noisy as the Eighth Market. It's really comfortable to take a quiet walk here. Huaixin Road: A street full of local life, with all kinds of plants that are truly healing. This is a popular filming location for TV dramas and movies, offering a great atmosphere for photography. However, this is a residential area, so please keep your voice down and do not disturb the residents when visiting. Songbai Road: Here you can find the most authentic Xiamen lifestyle, with interesting little shops hidden in the community. You can taste delicious food and enjoy street photography. Songbai Park is also a good choice for a leisurely stroll or a place to space out. —————Recommended Travel Route————— Travel Route: Zhongshan Park → Park West Road → Douxi Road → Huaixin Road → Xian Road Travel Tips: Choose a good weather day for photography to get the best shots. It is recommended to walk, wearing a pair of comfortable shoes. Transportation Guide: Take buses 4, 8, 86, 87, 96, etc., and get off at Gongyuan East Road Station, within walking distance.
