🏨 Xiamen Marriott 🚗 Distance The hotel is not far from the ✈️ airport, a 30 minute drive from the hotel’s balcony. The airport and hotel are across the sea, and if you bring a telescope, you can see the airport clearly. 🏝️ Environment Positioning a hotel for vacation, the location must not be bad, out the door is the Rainbow Trail, there are people running here every day, after the trail is the seaside, you can take various sea views. Because it is a trail, there will be no cars, so you can walk slowly with confidence. There are three door locks on the first floor of the hotel. You can swipe your card directly to the seaside, which is safe and convenient. Of course, the hotel's essential swimming pool, children's slide, these standard features are nothing to say. 🏠 Room I brought my parents, so I booked a suite. There shouldn’t be many suites in the hotel, less than 8 on each floor. All beachfront resort hotels will be built in a U shape, with guest rooms on either side and a pool in the middle. So the rooms facing the ocean, not many, the other rooms have side sea views, however they are beautiful. Next to the main floor is the villa room with a separate pool, and we came to the hotel just in time to see someone having a birthday in the villa. The pool rooms are good, if you don't like the sea view like me, you can book a pool room, which has direct access to the pool from the terrace, and there is a grid in the middle of each room, which is great for children to play in the water. ☕️Dining The breakfast at the hotel is very standard breakfast, there is variety, but nothing very novel. So just so-so. 📮Location Many people will be as confused as I am about these three nearest hotels. Overall review I would still think Marriott would be better. Portman’s building is so tall that you can see far, but it’s a slight distance from Sunshine Plaza. So if you have to eat out in the evening, you may have to walk some distance. There will be a conference center in front of the Marriott hotel building, so the overall location will be further away from the sea. At the same time, it may be slightly sheltered if it is on a lower floor. 🏝️ Overall feeling Marriott this side is actually coming for vacation, suitable for parents and children to play in the sea, or the whole family to vacation, take the elderly to see the sea. The surroundings will be closer to Font and kids will love it. If you are visiting, it is still recommended to find a hotel on the seaside of Xiamen Island, so it will be more convenient to visit tourist attractions.
