In Xiamen!!! This budget-friendly hotel is amazing.

W Xiamen: A Dreamy Rainforest Adventure During the Off-Season During the off-season after Lunar New Year, I used 20k points plus a suite upgrade voucher to stay in the Wonderful Room at W Xiamen, and it was such a great value! There were no lines for check-in, check-out, or breakfast, and I practically had the Living Room (bar) to myself during happy hour. I highly recommend traveling during the off-season. 🏘️ Room Type/Layout I especially loved the hotel's interior design. While it's not as fantastical as the space-themed W Changsha designed by CCD, the blue and white color scheme, accented with vibrant floral and botanical touches, creates a rainforest-like atmosphere. The energetic electronic music in the lobby and the flowing light waterfall in the elevators add to the immersive experience, leaving guests feeling happy and energized. The Wonderful Room is approximately 100 square meters. Rooms ending in 10 offer beautiful sea views towards Guanyin Mountain. The living room is very spacious, with a separate table and a colorful curtain wall, perfect for parties with friends. Dice elements are everywhere, and the welcome graffiti on the entryway mirror is a thoughtful touch. There's a mirror in the bedroom facing the bed, making for fun and challenging selfies. 🛌 Amenities/Facilities The hotel's amenities and facilities are generally good, although the rooftop gym is a bit underwhelming compared to other W Hotels. The equipment selection isn't extensive, the space isn't particularly large, and there aren't many mirrors. However, other aspects are commendable, such as the unique and eye-catching room decor. 🧹 Soundproofing/Cleanliness The hotel maintains a high standard in both these areas, with no issues impacting my stay. 💰️ Cost Per Person I used 20k points and a suite upgrade voucher for this stay. Getting the Wonderful Room this way during the off-season was incredibly cost-effective. If you book directly, the price will vary depending on the season and room type. Dining Experience: Breakfast features many local specialties, such as peanut soup, misua, oyster omelets, and ngo hiang. The peanut soup is soft, glutinous, and sweet; the oyster omelets are popular and replenished quickly. The pink-purple dragon fruit and banana yogurt in the beverage area is a "digestive delight." Among many hotel breakfasts, W Xiamen's has several dishes worth going back for. 2. Travel Advice: The off-season travel experience is excellent, with fewer crowds and better service. If your schedule allows, choose the off-season for a more valuable stay at W Xiamen.
