Check in at the Sijiao Islands! It's amazing.

We left Ningbo at 3 am and arrived in Xiapu County at 9:40 am. We caught the 10 am ferry. The Bird Island was closed when we went. We only visited the other three islands. Check them out if you're interested. Dongzhuo Island - This island has a circular stepped island, preserving the original mountain and sea scenery. It's a great place for photos, and there are sheep. We recommend spending about 2 hours here. - The island's "Lion Peak" and "Emperor's Hat" are unique in shape, contrasting with the lawn and cliffs. It's perfect for aerial photography, and you can take some great shots. Nanzhuo Island - This uninhabited black reef island has clear water and a pebble beach. The rusty yellow and black reefs are bright in the sun. You can enjoy the tranquility and see cattle and sheep. - It's a great place to relax and a good spot for diving. You can see coral reefs and fish up close. Beizhuo Island - The only island in the Sijiao Islands where you can stay overnight. There are 3 homestays that need to be booked in advance. It's a great place to watch the sunrise and one of the first places on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait to see the sunrise. - The island has beautiful beaches and unique reefs. You can also experience the island's mountain city scenery and feel the local customs. 🤩 Tips from someone who's been there ❶ Don't wait until you get there to find a homestay. ▪️Contact a homestay on Beizhuo Island before you go. Make sure the host can show you around the island. We recommend Qianyu Homestay or Yujian Homestay on the Sijiao Islands. The host is a local and knows many beautiful places. They're very friendly, and the room has floor-to-ceiling windows with a sea view. ▪️When you arrive at Beizhuo Island Port from Jishi Wharf, the homestay will send a car to pick you up. ❷ If you want to take photos, don't just follow the big boat to the island! The Dongzhuo and Bird Islands only stop for an hour, which is very rushed. We recommend booking a homestay or arranging a boat trip with a partner in the afternoon!
