The stream runs through the canyon and crosses back and forth 18 times, hence the name Shibadu. In the old days, private salt dealers traveled long distances across mountains and rivers to avoid heavy taxes, so it was called the Salt Gang's Eighteen Crossing Ancient Road. [Itinerary] We choose to walk in two sections: 1. Qingzhai Village➡️Lijiaxi Village, along the Yanbang Ancient Road, has a total length of about 5 kilometers and a climbing height of more than 200 meters. 2. Lijiaxi Village➡️Chiyan Village, along the Shibadu Crossing, is about 5 kilometers long. Walking on flat ground without climbing, you need to cross the stream 18 times. Two of the crossings must be crossed with wet feet.
