Travel Diary: Tianmu Mountain Tianmu Yin Hotel

The hotel is nestled halfway up Tianmu Mountain ⛰️, surrounded by dense forests, offering a truly secluded vibe 🌄. On clear days, you can catch the sunset 📸, and there's a glass platform along with swings and slides 🐾. A hiking trail nearby is perfect for a stroll and some fresh air. ⚠️ Important ⚠️ This place is only suitable for self-driving trips 🚗. Although there are shuttle buses, they don't run on a fixed schedule❗️ The hotel isn't partnered with the scenic area, so getting down the mountain is a matter of luck❗️ It's very unfriendly for those relying on public transport [Sob]. Hopefully, this will improve in the future. The room we stayed in was a cozy cabin 🏡—not too big, not too small, but full of ambiance. The automated amenities were super convenient [Cute]. The balcony overlooks the mountain scenery, perfect for leisurely afternoon tea and snacks (though there are quite a few flying insects up there). And yes, the bathtub is placed right on the balcony 🛁. Since the hotel is halfway up the mountain, there's no restaurant on-site. For lunch and dinner, you need to pre-order dishes, which are homestyle stir-fries best enjoyed with a group [Facepalm]. Ordering for two feels a bit limiting—hopefully, they’ll add more light meal options in the future [Surprising]. Gotta say, the Xinchang stir-fried rice cakes are seriously delicious❗️ Breakfast is a carb-heavy set, with a choice of noodles or wontons [Coke]. One serving is quite filling. Overall, the experience was excellent [Cute]. From before arrival, there was a butler assigned to stay in touch and promptly address any needs or questions [Clap]. It’s absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway or just lounging around.
