Bailong Mountain, an undiscovered treasure

⛱️Must-see attractions: Bailong Mountain Yixiantian, Shoushan 🚄Transportation: Self-driving is recommended. Park your car in the parking lot and walk to Gongde Gate. It takes about 10 minutes to start climbing the mountain. ⏳Duration: 1 full day 📆Itinerary: There is a small slope from the parking lot to Gongde Gate. The climb starts at Gongde Gate. You don't need to choose a route for the first section, just keep climbing. The first stop is Yixian Pavilion, where you can buy a red ribbon and write your name and your family's names on it. Keep climbing to Bailong Tengjing, and then you can worship at the Ping'an Temple. From here, the mountain road begins, but it is not steep. Keep going and you will reach Yixiantian. There is a bridge and two straight mountains at Yixiantian. Stand in the middle of the two mountains and look up at the sky to see Yixiantian. Keep climbing. Although there are some steep slopes, it is very interesting. There is a lot of natural scenery and the air is fresh. Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of nature. It is very calming. It takes about half an hour to reach Shoushan. Before climbing the mountain, you will climb a stepped slope for 5–7 minutes to reach the large Shou character. Here, you can choose to take photos, rest, and go down the mountain, or climb the stairs to the top to see the view from the top of the mountain, or you can choose to climb the undeveloped mountain road next to it. We climbed to the top of the stairs, which is quite high. The slope gets steeper as you go up, but you can see the other side of the Shou character and look down at the mountain view. Be careful when taking photos, as two small sections of the railing are a little unstable. It is not suitable for children, the elderly, or those who are afraid of heights. We also climbed a section of the undeveloped path next to it. The scenery is not as good as before, and the road is muddy, so it is not necessary. 📝Tips: Bring enough food and water. There are no food vendors on the mountain. It is recommended to bring light and filling food such as bread. There is a noodle shop at the foot of the mountain. The hand-rolled noodles are very chewy and delicious.
