"Chihiro Falls" is one of Yakushima's representative waterfalls, with a drop of about 60m✨ Since ancient times, the length of a person's outstretched arms has been called "ichihiro", and the rock face on the left side of the waterfall is as large as a thousand people clasping their hands, so it was named "Chihiro Falls". From the nearby observation deck, which has a 360-degree view, you can see the waterfall if you look towards the mountain side, and the village if you look towards the sea side.
