Yamanakako Marriott Hotel | A romantic view of Mount Fuji from the window during the day and night

Family, this is the fifth hotel I’ve changed on this trip! Originally booked for two nights, temporarily changed to one night, the next day to run to Tokyo to stay, mainly because this hotel is not very convenient transportation. We took the highwaybus from Shinjuku, Tokyo to Lake Yamanaka Asahi Hill. We were able to catch the hotel shuttle according to the ticket time, but it was 11:42 when we arrived at the station. The hotel shuttle just left at 11:40. I asked the hotel, there is no bus at noon, it will be available after 2pm at the earliest. There is a call at the station for a cab, a taxi to the hotel, it cost 3100 yen from Asahi Hill to Marriott. When we arrived at the hotel, a guy immediately came over to help with our luggage and took us to the front desk to check in. He was a Chinese guy who was super patient and explained to us the various facilities and usage of the hotel. I had a private hot spring bath in Hakone before, so I chose the Mount Fuji view room. The hotel is a bit old, very Japanese old hotel feel, the hardware is well maintained, the waiter service is superb, enthusiastic and simple. The hotel has a public hot spring, the first floor is a men's bath, the second floor is a women's bath, every day at 0 pm will be interchanged once, I do not know what the principle, I feel many people will get it wrong. There is a yukata in the room. It is very ceremonial to change and go to the bath. The hotel has only one restaurant and no executive lounge. We arrived at noon and had a casual meal at the western restaurant. In the evening, the area to the right of the front desk offers happy hour, but to pack back to the room to eat, the dishes were okay, the beef that night was super tender and delicious! The next day's breakfast was quite satisfactory. It would be good to have enough to eat in this wilderness. Speaking of transportation, the hotel has shuttle buses to and from Lake Yamanaka Rising Hill Station and Lake Yamanaka Entrance Station. The front desk can get the shuttle timetable. If you want to go to a place like the park that is not within the station confines, it is best to discuss with the driver in advance, in most cases the driver will cooperate to stop. If you are in a hurry, I really don't recommend staying here. The transportation is really not very convenient. But if you want to experience the slow life, coming here to feel the relaxation is simply perfect. #Marriott Lake Yamanaka #Mount Fuji View Hotel #Japan Travel Accommodation #Tokyo Hotel
