Fukushima 🇯🇵 The Enzoji Temple of the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha

A famous temple representing Aizu and one of the three great Kūkuzo statues in Japan. It is said that Fukuman Kūkuzo Enzoji Temple was founded by Tokuichi Daishi, an accomplished monk from Aizu, in 807, about 1,300 years ago. The main hall is built on a large rock, and offers a magnificent view of the Tadami River flowing through the town.
