This hotel is just steps away from Dongguan Street, a popular attraction in Yangzhou, and within walking distance of many famous sights. Transportation is very convenient. The hotel is about 3 km from Yangzhou East Bus Station, a 10-minute taxi ride away. There are multiple bus routes nearby, making it easy to get to Slender West Lake, Ge Garden, and other attractions. Guests driving themselves can navigate directly to the hotel, and there is paid parking nearby. There are plenty of dining options nearby. A 5-minute walk takes you to the Dongguan Street food district, where I recommend trying Yangzhou fried rice, lion's head meatballs, and dried tofu shreds. There are also several good Huaiyang restaurants opposite the hotel, offering authentic flavors at reasonable prices. In the evening, you can visit the nearby night market for a variety of snacks. The hotel's soundproofing is good, with minimal noise between rooms. The hygiene is excellent, with clean and tidy bedding, and daily housekeeping. The bathroom facilities are relatively new, and hot water is consistently available. The front desk staff is friendly, and both check-in and check-out processes are smooth. Three must-visit places in Yangzhou: First, Dongguan Street, to experience the charm of the ancient street; second, Slender West Lake, to admire the exquisite Jiangnan gardens; and finally, Ge Garden, to savor the unique charm of a classical private garden. All three locations are close to the hotel, making sightseeing very convenient. Overall, the Home Inn Selected Hotel (Yangzhou Dongguan Street East Circle Branch) offers excellent value for money and is suitable for travelers on a budget who want to stay near the scenic area. The clean and comfortable rooms, coupled with the convenient location, made my Yangzhou trip even more enjoyable.
