Times Square Lunchbox Restaurant 'Hazben'

Seoul is divided into 3 areas. Jongno Jung-gu area / Gangnam area / Yeongdeungpo area. Yeongdeungpo-gu is divided into Yeouido area and Yeongdeungpo area, and the area in charge of Yeongdeungpo's central commercial area is Yeongdeungpo Market and Times Square area. Anyway, Times Square is a mega shopping mall with a huge commercial area and hotels. Since it had been a long time since I had been to Yeongdeungpo, I decided to check out Times Square and go back to my accommodation. It was 8 PM. I quickly explored because the restaurants would close if I went too late. Times Square food court had at least dozens, and if you include Shinsegae Department Store, there were hundreds of restaurants. It was luxurious. I immediately visited the Japanese bento restaurant called Hazuben, which caught my eye the most. ------- Lunch box restaurant. Sushi restaurant. Omikase. Tuna, ramen. I thought that was all there was to Japanese restaurants. But a bento restaurant was unusual. What would a restaurant specializing in lunch boxes look like? I ordered 17,000 won with a 2,000 won drink. A total of 19,000 won and waited. Hazuben's menu was quite diverse, not just lunch boxes. They also sold tonkatsu, udon, and sushi. It was like a lunch box restaurant + a Japanese restaurant. ------ Hazuben's taste. It's 5% amusing. Well, the menu is economical as you can see in the picture. And the visuals are pretty. The visuals are pretty enough to post on the blog, but isn't the taste the most important thing? The fish are flounder, tuna, shrimp, and sea bream, and there are expensive and cheap fish. And in the lower section, there are simple fruits, fried foods, and karaage chicken. And one soba. I lightly sprinkled soy sauce on the lunch box and took a bite with the croquette, and it tasted good. But it tasted a bit ordinary. Soy sauce + raw fish + rice? = sushi. It tastes like sushi. It feels like a lunch box made by mixing several sushi pieces together? I thought it was a no-brainer, so I added mustard and took another bite, and it definitely tasted like sushi. There were about 12 pieces of fish, so I ate about 12 pieces of sushi. It tasted good, but... I almost wish I had just eaten sushi. It was something between sushi and rice bowl. It wasn't sushi or rice bowl,,, but the amount wasn't that huge either. It was a bit disappointing... I couldn't say it was worth the 20,000 won price. Looking at other customers, there were more people eating udon or sushi than lunch boxes. It seems that lunch boxes are not the main menu, but sushi and udon are the main menu.
