Yangxian Town

The Dongpo Pavilion, which was officially completed and opened in 2020, has become a new landmark building in Yixing City, and Yangxian Xishan holds up the "Beautiful House in the Sky". Dongpo Pavilion, standing on the peaks, is a regional cultural symbol held up by the Yangxian River and Mountains. Dongpo Pavilion is a loft building with Song Dynasty style as its characteristic. Climbing up Dongpo Pavilion, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Yangxian River and mountains in Yinan Mountain Area, the rippling Yangxian Lake, the smoke from distant villages, the vast bamboo sea and other beautiful scenery of the south of the Yangtze River. After the completion and opening of Dongpo Pavilion, it will become the commanding height for viewing the Yada Yangxian Xishan Town physically, and spiritually become "a station for comprehending the inn of life and a beacon for lighting up the Yangxian landscape." We went up to Dongpo Pavilion at dusk and again after dinner. It was very beautiful. Unfortunately, the highest point was contracted by a private individual and closed at 4:30 pm, leaving many tourists disappointed.
