Built in 1930, this luxury liner made 254 voyages over the course of 30 years and was known as the "Queen of the North Pacific." Currently, you can learn about the ship's history through its original passenger rooms, interiors, and other recreations, as well as panels that display what it was like back then. It was very interesting, and I enjoyed learning more than I had expected. After being retired in 1960, it was moored in front of Yamashita Park in 1961 and refurbished as the Nippon Yusen Hikawa Maru in 2008. It is so valuable that it was designated an Important Cultural Property in 2016.
