Listen to "Romance of the West Chamber" at Pujiu Temple

Pujiu Temple is usually scheduled for the second day of the trip to Yuncheng. After experiencing the grandeur and shock of "Traveling with the Gods" on the first day, it's time to return to the human world, with a beautiful love story, the magnificent scenery of the Yellow River, and the exquisite craftsmanship of artisans. The story of Yongji "In the Human World" continues. The first stop is Pujiu Temple in "Romance of the West Chamber", "surrounded by red walls, with ancient towers towering high, and temples hidden among green trees". Pujiu Temple is built on the plateau, with an upper, middle, and lower terrace layout, and three axes: east, middle, and west. You can enter from the middle axis and exit from the east axis, visiting the three terraces in sequence. Inside the temple, there are attractions such as "Pear Blossom Courtyard", "White Pagoda", "Bright Moon Pool", and "Seven Mile Pine", each with its own story and legend. The most popular Pear Blossom Courtyard is located between the Great Buddha Hall and the Sutra Library on the third terrace, commonly known as "Yingying Courtyard", where the old lady, Yingying, and Hongniang lived in Pujiu Temple. The north main room was the old lady's room, the west wing room was Yingying and Hongniang's room, and the east wing room was Huanlang's room. I won't say more, it's best to hire a guide to enjoy the scenery and listen to the stories, to truly immerse yourself in the "Romance of the West Chamber" at Pujiu Temple. I later found out that every year on the Qixi Festival, Pujiu Temple organizes a "Love Culture Festival", which is truly amazing. Notes: ① There is a parking lot outside the entrance square, you can directly navigate to "Pujiu Temple Parking Lot", CNY 10 per time. Guide fee is CNY 60. ② The stairs at Pujiu Temple are a bit difficult to climb, especially at the entrance and the back garden, the stairs are steep, going up is fine, but going down is a bit scary. You can take the wooden stairs on both sides, which are relatively flat, but you have to take a longer route. ③ Pujiu Temple is 3.8 km (about 6 minutes by car) from Pujindu Site (Yellow River Iron Ox), and 5.6 km (about 8 minutes by car) from Guanque Tower (on a clear day, you can see Guanque Tower from Pujiu Temple). Pujindu Site is 1.8 km (about 3 minutes by car) from Guanque Tower. After the visit, you can navigate directly to Wangu Temple, and then have a meal in Yongji City (Xiaoxue Beef Dumpling Restaurant).
